We are delighted to have launched Baby Basics in Jersey (based at St. Mark’s Church) which is part of the network of Baby Basics centres across the UK. Baby Basics was first established in Sheffield in 2009 and has grown to over 50 centres.
The aim of Baby Basics is to meet the needs of new mums who are struggling with the financial impact of having a baby. This may be due to a wide range of circumstances.
Baby Basics works with midwives, health visitors and other local organisations to provide starter packs for families.
Our starter pack provide a safe place to sleep and are packed full of toiletries such as nappies, wipes and maternity pads, as well as blankets, towels and baby clothes.
